Rail construction is one of our core skills. This area is also closely linked to PORR's history in the Czech Republic. After all, as early as 1870 we were involved in the conversion of the horse-drawn railway between České Budějovice and Linz to steam operation.
Today, we enjoy technological leadership in the construction and modernisation of railway corridors and deliver innovative solutions for every assignment. For example, through our fixed guideway system, which we developed together with the Austrian Federal Railways and which has already found applications in Austria, Germany, Japan and Qatar.
We always take a holistic view of rail projects. That's why we also offer services that go beyond the construction of the railway lines themselves - for example, the construction of civil engineering structures and associated roads that are part of individual railway projects.
