Construction of bridges

Bridge construction is considered a royal discipline among engineering structures. Bridges have a special place in our society - they span obstacles, valleys and rivers and connect people and regions. PORR has been building bridges for more than 100 years, during which time it has acquired extensive know-how. Our services include the construction, reconstruction and demolition of all types of bridges - reinforced concrete, concrete, suspension and prefabricated.

In 2013, PORR used a completely new method of bridge demolition for the first time in the Czech Republic, which allowed the complete dismantling and removal of an entire bridge in a single night. Today, this method is also used by other Czech construction companies.
